The study — which defines binge drinking as five or more drinks in a short period of time for men and four or more for women — breaks down the nation’s 38 million binge drinkers by a variety of measures, including geography, age and income level. Wisconsin is the state with the most binge drinkers at 25 percent of the population, while Utah, home to the teetotaling Mormon church, comes in last at less than 11 percent.

I can’t even pretend to be surprised at what AT&T does anymore. They are a greedy, horrible company who has no problem screwing their customers over for a few bucks. Verizon is no better. Sprint may be the only one left worth doing business with.

I’m sure it’s purely coincidental that just as iMessage is about to hit in iOS 5, AT&T is removing all of their lower-priced text messaging plans.

It’s not like the masses were about to rush to downgrade their rip-off SMS plans or anything.

Now it will be all or nothing — meaning most won’t downgrade. How weird, this timing.

A cynical person may think that AT&T are being huge fucking scumbags here. Really, they’re just “streamlining” their plans. Just like when they “streamlined” their plans by removing unlimited data a few months back.

It’s all in the name of what’s best for the consumer. What class acts.

I’m not 100% sure what makes a company a “media company”. But I have yet to see any examples of Google actually creatingmedia. Their products distribute media. And they do encourage the creation of compelling content. But do they actually make any themselves? Am I missing something?

Today is probably the first truly spring-like day we’ve had around here since winter made Missouri its bitch last year. I’m really looking forward to nice weather this year - because I have a yard again! I recently moved out of an apartment and back into a house.

I love spring and summer when I have things to do outside. I’m looking forward to mowing. I know, I know… by the end of the summer I’ll probably be happy for the break. But at least for now, I’m pumped. I want to plant a garden. I want to do some landscaping. I want to have people over for BBQs and outdoor shindigs.

I don’t have enough furniture to fill a house, so the inside is a bit sparse at the moment. I haven’t hung anything on the walls yet. And for the time being, I really don’t care.

I have grass outside. That’s what I’m thinking about now.
