I Have Grass

Today is probably the first truly spring-like day we’ve had around here since winter made Missouri its bitch last year. I’m really looking forward to nice weather this year - because I have a yard again! I recently moved out of an apartment and back into a house.

I love spring and summer when I have things to do outside. I’m looking forward to mowing. I know, I know… by the end of the summer I’ll probably be happy for the break. But at least for now, I’m pumped. I want to plant a garden. I want to do some landscaping. I want to have people over for BBQs and outdoor shindigs.

I don’t have enough furniture to fill a house, so the inside is a bit sparse at the moment. I haven’t hung anything on the walls yet. And for the time being, I really don’t care.

I have grass outside. That’s what I’m thinking about now.
